Goals
The Senior Center's goal is to help area Seniors remain
healthy and active through participation in recreational, educational
and leisure activities. The Senior Center and Commission on Aging encourage
the community to share their skills and at the same time enrich their
own lives by gaining knowledge through their volunteer experience.

Each weekday, a nutritious,
home-cooked meal is served by experienced cooks at the Mecosta County
Senior Center, offering the perfect opportunity for seniors to meet
with friends, participate in activities and enjoy a delicious meal!
Dine-in meals are available to the general public and meal
sites are also located in Big Rapids and Barryton! |
Funding of Activities
The Senior Center is a service of the Commission on Aging.
It is funded through Senior Center staffing funds of the Older Americans
Act through the Office of Services to the Aging, Area Agency of Western
Michigan, the County Senior Millage, the Senior Center Board and Donations.
